The Sudoku rules are fairly simple, but the puzzle can be quite hard. A Sudoku-board comprises of a 9*9 grid that is divided by 9 squares, each containing 3 rows and 3 coloumns. Your task is to fill all the cells in the board according to the simple rules below. So here they are:

  • Sudoku grid consists of 9x9 spaces.
  • You can use only numbers from 1 to 9. 0 (zero) will erase the cell
  • Each 3×3 block can only contain numbers from 1 to 9.
  • Each vertical column can only contain numbers from 1 to 9.
  • Each horizontal row can only contain numbers from 1 to 9.
  • Each number in the 3×3 block, vertical column or horizontal row can be used only once.
  • The game is over when the whole Sudoku grid is correctly filled with numbers.

Every time you type a number its validity will be checked according to the rules above. If it is not valid the cell will continue to be blank and an error message will be written.
